CINEKINK: LAS VEGAS – June 7-9, 2012


CineKink -– “the kinky film festival” — kicks off its annual tour in Las Vegas, June 7-9, 2012. With screenings at the city’s arts-district cinema, Theatre7 (1406 South Third Street), CineKink: Las Vegas will offer a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide and exciting world of sexual diversity, with works ranging from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit – and everything in between.

CABARET DESIRE
CineKink Audience Choice Award – Best Narrative Feature/Tie
Set against a sumptuous Barcelona backdrop, at a bohemian gathering where readings, dance and music create a sensual vibe, CABARET DESIRE weaves together four erotic tales of intimacy, love, passion and sex.
Directed by Erika Lust, 2011, Spain, 74 minutes.

But how up close will they actually get?

In a Bolivian coffee-shop, middle-aged Luis spots Anouk, a pretty young French woman with exquisitely bad table manners. He approaches her and, without introduction, asks her to go home with him–and she, surprisingly, accepts. Once there he attempts to frame her into the woman that lies beneath her childish exterior, and the two participate in their own kinky version of a sirwiñakuy–an indigenous tradition where a man brings home a trial “wife.”
