Tristan has lectured at many colleges and universities around the country, including: Harvard, Yale, Brown, NYU, Vassar, Wesleyan, Columbia, Smith, Johns Hopkins University, University of California at Santa Barbara, Colby College, Princeton, Rutgers University, Wells College, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Connecticut College, and The New School.

Tristan speaks on various topics from sex education and GLBT issues to feminism and pornography with her signature style that’s direct, down to earth, witty, and very entertaining. In addition, Tristan has given keynote addresses for events such as Sex Week, Women’s History Month, Take Back the Night, V-Day, National Coming Out Day, LGBT Pride Week, and others. She has several lectures to choose from or will create a custom lecture according to the needs and desires of the academic or student group that invites her to speak. She can also teach smaller, more intimate workshops.
